An exciting and unspoiled spot which is perfect for artists who like to paint Plein Air. Situated in the Lot Valley, just a two hour drive from Toulouse Airport, Haut Baran is a beautiful old French Country House, fantastic scenery all around, vineyards, farms, a winding river, small villages and castles. Best of all, it’s owned and managed by an American couple, so you won’t have language difficulties or need to drive! Bedrooms have private bathrooms with American style showers and hairdryer and you have the use of the beautiful grounds with swimming pool and jacuzzi. Transportation from the airport and to painting spots, is provided by minivan by the owner who is fluent in French and English. Our special package is based on from 1 to 6 people traveling together - per person price is lower for more people, so get your friends to come along!

INCLUDED: 7 nights accommodations based on sharing a double or twin room, (except for single occupancy price, 7 continental breakfasts, transportation by minivan: round trip airport transfers from Toulouse and three days with transfers to different places to paint - the first of those days will include a half day introductory tour of the area. 4 dinners with wine at Haut Baran and 3 lunches on the days you paint in the grounds. Services of William Haas, owner, during your stay for assistance with restaurants, translation, local information, etc. (additional transportation and sightseeing may be arranged at a nominal fee)

In the event of CANCELLATION payment for the land package will be refunded less the following: up to 60 days before arrival - $200 per person 60-30 days before arrival $500 per person, within 30 days, no refund unless the cancelled space can be resold, in which case the $500 charge will apply. Cancellation policy on air tickets will depend on type of ticket purchased and details will be explained to you at time of purchase.

TRANSFERS will be provided between Toulouse Airport and Haut Baran upon arrival and departure, the group of 2 to 6 persons must arrive and depart on the same flight.

For SPECIAL REQUESTS such as vegetarian meals, difficulty with stairs, etc., please add a note to the reservation form, we will pass these on and do our best to comply.

This tour price is based on CURRENCY EXCHANGE rates as of September 2004. If there is major fluctuation, adjustment will be made at the time of final payment.

AIR TRAVEL may be arranged through our partner travel agency in which case Webster’s World will confirm flights and quote fares. There is a reservation and ticketing fee of $25 per ticket. Airline tickets must usually be issued within 1-3 days of confirmation, and airfare may be charged to Visa or Mastercard. If you prefer, you may make your own airline arrangements, and notify us of the flight information for transfers.
