DOMAINE du HAUT BARAN - an exciting and unspoiled spot which is perfect for artists who
like to paint Plein Air. In the Lot Valley, a two hour drive from Toulouse Airport, Haut Baran is a beautiful old
French Country House, fantastic scenery all around, vineyards, farms, a winding river, small villages and castles.
Best of all, it’s owned and managed by an American couple, so you won’t have language difficulties! The seven
guest bedrooms have private bathrooms with American style showers and hairdryer and beds may be one king or two twins.
You will also have exclusive use of the beautiful grounds, swimming pool and hot tub. Our small, exclusive workshop,
takes place at a beautiful time of year with harvest and winemaking, and can only accommodate a maximum of 14 persons.
Transportation from the airport and to painting spots, is provided by motorcoach, and you will have the personal
attention of owner William Haas for assistance with local information, and language needs. The workshop will be
conducted in soft pastels, but artists may also work in oil or acrylic, Duane is an accomplished instructor in all
